沿革


In December 1987,  AZUMA Kako Company Japan founded the AZUMA KAKO CHEMICAL COMPANY LTD. at Kaohsiung Taiwan specialized to conduct marine engine components recondition work.

At that initial stage, all of technical staffs and experienced labors were dispatched from Japan  to  Taiwan,  their main job was in charge of setting equipments to work and technical instruction etc..  

In the year 1980s, the recondition technique and expertise of marine engine components were not yet well established in Taiwan.  Therefore Japan side decided to join venture with a domestic esteemed ship repairer named Kwang Youn Gi Engineering Co., Ltd. to manage company jointly. The first Chairman was sat by Mr. Oo from Kwang Youn Gi Engineering Co. as well.

Till August 1992, company was obliged to rename because of the detonation wording “CHEMICAL”  which stated in its maiden name caused numerous confusions to the domestic  Environment  Protection  Authorities.  It was always misunderstood an impression in related with  CHEMICAL  ENGINEERING  TREATMENT to the authority.

Since that time AZUMA Engineering Ltd. has been officially renamed and openly acknowledged up till now.      

Nowadays, AZUMA Engineering Ltd. dominates the top share of recondition market in Taiwan at all times.  In addition,  we become a unique company with well equipped equipment and professional expertise on this field.

Most of global esteemed shipping companies no matter from domestic and foreign ones such as “EVERGREEN” “YANG MING”  “OOCL”  “APL”  “WANG HAI” “YU MING” “K-LINE” ”SEA LAND” ”CHINA STEEL”  ”CPC”  ”MING TAI” “TMT” “TECHNOMAR” etc. are all our extinguished customers.

Currently 60% of annual revenue is from domestic customers and the rest are from foreign ones.

AZUMA  Engineering Ltd.  under management of current Chairman  Mr. Masami AZUMA  has  been successfully founded over two (2)  decades.  We  persist  in “HONESTY” and “INTEGRITY” as the main stream of our service all the time and we are ready to trigger the Long Term Business Continuity target as well.
